I haven’t unpacked the good bows yet so this morning when I got Kytte out, I grabbed one of the sad little brazilwood numbers I have floating around and–

It was halfway playable!

It’s not that the bow has spontaneously gotten better, but that over the past year, my bowing technique has gotten back to the point where I can wrestle a poor bow under my control. Like, that bow won’t ever be able to respond subtly, but I can deal with the sponginess of the handling now.
