"Gut strings are ONLY for Baroque music!!!"


🤔 then what did everyone use during the Classical and Romantic and early Modern and Contemporary eras? Also, why are there modern non-Baroque-setup gut strings?


(I was going to make a joke about all strings literature from ~1750 to ~1970 being a mass hallucination but I'm scared that one day I'll see someone argue it as fact 😬)
